It is playing time!!!

It has been quite some time since I talked our my beloved sons- cutie and fatie.. They are doing very fine. EVeryday sleep and sleep and sleep. I love their lives. Today they have a wonderful time playing with each other. They are so adorable. My sister said that I am insane as I scolded her for accidentally pushing them. And i quickly used my hands to protect them when my dad almost kicked them. My dad gave me a puzzled face and then shook his head. haahaa I think all my family members think that I am crazy! haha ok nvm this a picture of them playing!

Finally I have submitted my pair written report on Soci of Deviance. It is an interesting module. For those who want to take soci modules to clear unelective, this is a module that you guys must take. Trust me! You will definitely enjoy it. Despite all over dosage of assignments and projects, I find that I am beginning to love to work in groups. In the past, I would always prefer individual work rather than group work as I thought it is a chore to work in groups. Project meetings, writing of minutes and coordination of meetings etc are enough to add on the burden of doing project together. Unlike project assignments, with individual assignments, I can do it own time. Nevertheless I have good experiences in project meetings before especially working with people that I am familiar and comfortable with.
I have only one individual assignment this semester, the rest of my assignments are project based. Despite all the hectic scheduling of meetings rushing through the deadlines, I feel very happy working with them. There is strong sense of urgency but no tinge of frustration. This maybe because I am working with people whom I have build rapport and trust with already. I really like working in this kind of environment where you really see the group working hard together. There is no free riders around that shun their responsibilities by giving "stupid" excuses. This sense of happiness makes me even wanna go into honours year more since these friends that I am referring to, majority are staying for honours. I wanna continue to experience this happiness!

We got FIRST!

This week is a busy week for me. A lot of deadlines nearing and so I'm jamming my xiao hei real hard. SOrry darling please bear with me for a few more weeks. I started off my week by having a "sweet"/weird/funny dream. Clara if you see this, you sure be laughing away. :p Guess what I dreamt of "our beloved 02A10's" geography teacher KT. Haahaa I was so shocked when I woke up from my dream, (though I was smiling away. :p) Anyway I shall not tell you about the details of the dream. (SHhh Mak Lao Shi don't tell them.. :p)

Today was a forgetful day for me. I started off my lovely morning with Dear coming to pick me up from school. But i realized that I have forgotten to bring my lip gloss out (as my lips are super dry). In order not for Dear to wait for me to long at the carpark, I sacrificed to walk back to my house to take the lip gloss. But he was late! I should have gone back. :p And then We were planning to have our breakfast at cheese prata shop at fong seng, but it was closed. Weird! So i went to the library with a empty stomach. *stomach drumming* WHen I reached the library, I realized that I have left my handphone in my Dear's car! Oh shit how? No handphone how to contact my friends. As i was walking to the free phone calling corner, I saw one familiar man running towards me. Yes, My dear brought my handphone to me! hee thanks dear. So after that here I am using the library com to blog and print stuffs. After sending all my documents to the printer, I realized that my wallet is not in my bag. Oh shit! I forgot to bring my wallet out! so no cashcard, for those who are reading this entry now (almost 9am), please come and rescue your friend here (lend me cashcard)!

Happy Birthday to Dear!!!

Today is my dear 26th Birthday! OMG he is soo old.. Haahaa. I gave him a surprise yesterday night. I'm so impressed with myself. It is an impromtu idea! I just heard that he will be coming my house to stay over since his parents drove both cars out. And his school bag is at my place. He needed it to do his FYP, so after supper he ask his friend to drive him to my place. So i was contemplating whether how to give him a surprise. It was difficult since I have little resources. I did not buy him a present. So no present surprise and neither do I have the time to make him a card so i browse throught my drawers and found one card. I wrote something on it. But it wasnt enought to give him a big surprise on his birthday. SO i was thinkging to head down to seven elven to get him a slice of cake, but it was quite late and I dare not go out alone. Then, my sister say there is a pound cake in the fridge. ZaPP! So i cut a slice from the cake. But I thought it was too plain.. ANd I found mango, longans and jelly in the fridge again! Haa haa so i used that to decorate the plain piece of cake. Haahaa And I was thinkging it would be perfect if there are birthday candles to romanticize the atmoshphere. To my amazement!!! I found birthday candles too! OMG, suddenly I feel that my house is like a treasure hunt! Everything is ready, waiting for the VIP to come!

When dear arrived, i act as per normal. Once he head straight to the room, i went to the kictchen to bring out the cake and light up the candle. I was so nervous and panicked for fear that dear might just walked out of the room and saw the surprise. Luckily he didnt. I walked to the room with the lighted birthday cake, off the light and sang him a birthday song. He was soooo touched, i can really see it from this expression. Im so proud of myself. haahaa After which I gave him the birthday card he was even more touched. (2 hit combo!) :p

Pardon my low english standard. And our dear CSY english name is Von. How about mine. I have two!!! haahaa! Lynn is the one I gave myself when I first started online shopping. While my social work frens thought it is too common for a special person like me.. So they came up with an english name for me. -----> Jolina.. hmm nice? Jolina Kwek sounds soo nice haahaa. I think that will be my commerical name when I enter the working society in future so that people can remember my name easily. hee

Haahaa I will try not to save drafts in future as complained by KS. But I can't help it at times as I am just too busy and if I don't save something, I will forget what I wanna blog about. :p

Alrite zl bought me a bag from bangkok. It is so nice! It can fit my A4 file. Yeah I have another nicey bag to bring to school to show off. Thanks to zhou ling. It is really great to see all my jc frens again. I always tell my NUS frens that I hate JC life coz of all the tests and exams but I love the friends there, without them I can't imagine how life would be like. Staying back together to take class photos together are so fun! If there is an award given to our class i think that will be the most narcisstic class! Every time we meet up taking photos is a must!

Haiz it has been six days since I sprained my leg. But it is still swollen and at times I have difficulty walking due to the bloatedness. :(
Despite all these, I managed to make myself happy by buying a clutch bag on monday which is so beautiful.. if not i wont buy rite? ;p and a red color top today. I was choosing between red and blue and I got red instead as blue look a bit mature heez. Happy grinz

I received an sms from amanda that our arts fac have won all 3 matches today. The scores are as follow 34-14, 28-12, 12-8. So we are going into semi-finals. I hope i can play on monday for the semi finals...

I was supposed to be at the bball court at SRC tmr for my inter faculty bball! But I sprained my leg this evening when playing bball!!! WHy am i so unlucky.... I have not played for competition for donkey yrs le. WHy this happens to me!!! i Hate myself!! So sorry that I added burden to my team since there is only a few people. Worst of all, we are playing 3 matches tmr and it is going to determine whether we will be going to semi finals!!! Arghhhhhhhhhh WHy? Haiz my right leg is swollen.. sob sob feel so pain. Im gg to see the sinseh tmr, hope everything would be alrite...

Purpose of life

I went to interview my secondary school Operating Manager just now for our school bully project. Apart from talking stuffs about my project, we also talk about the purpose of life and the kinda value system. I was inspired by him after the talk. Anyway he never fail to inspire me since secondary school. I always feel very comfortable talking to him maybe because he is a counsellor. :p He is glad that I am doing fine, and we also talked about some of our secondary school friends who are not doing as fine and all. He also told me that he is picking up some other skills like doing fashion, image consultant, etc. I always think that he is a very talented man, he do dance, sing, play guitar, do volunteer work, part time taxi driver, certified image consultant, counsellor apart from being an operating manager. I was really impressed by the things he did etc despite him being 56 years old. He told me about what has guided him to the path that he is taking- his purpose in life.. which is to live, to love and to contribute. To live, meaning eat healthy (which i think is challenging to me), exercise to keep fit. To love everybody, hating a person is tiring, and also it does more harm than good. To contribute to the society in anyway that you can, helping the people in the society. Everyone can play a part to do this. A social worker can empower the people to be more self reliant, increase their self esteem, a banker can brighten a person's day by giving a warm smile and greeting when people step into the bank, a teacher can impart all the knowledge they know to the students, and in turn help the students to improve academically... WHich ever job u think of there is always someting that you can contribute to the person and to look at the larger picture- the society.
WHile I was on my way to meet him this morning, I saw an old lady walking across the road, with a walking stick. Suddenly i pondered about what I would become when I grow old? Would I also have to rely on a walking stick to walk, or become sickly. And I feel a strong urge to make full use of the days when I am healthy to do the things I like and may not be able to do when I grew old like runnning, swimming,play basketball, etc. I hope to live life to the fullest so that I would not have any regrets by the time i grow old.

Discovery!

I discovered something tonight while dear was driving me home. I keep on yawning in the car, and suddenly I talked to dear about yawing is contagious kinda thing. Suddenly, I thought of experimenting it with 小爱 since she was sitting on my lap. So i shout her name loud loud in the car to catch her attention. When she looked at me, then I yawn. After that I observed that she also "open her mouth wide wide showing her cute little teeth and tongue"= yawn.. And i burst out into laughter again!. To test that What I found out is really true, i repeat it for another 2 more times and to my amazement, she also yawn after I yawn.. Haa haa. SO yawning is contagious not only to humans but also dogs haahaa.
But there is limitations to what I found out, first the sample size is only 1, need to get more to do the experiment, so csy can try it on your chua bam bam :p. Also as mentioned earlier, I burst into laughter after she yawnz, so it maybe a the kinda reinforcement theory like she like to see my lovely laughter so yawn again after seeing me yawn heez.

小黑

I just went over to Challenger at Funan IT mall to get my 小黑 fixed. There is something wrong with 小黑, whenever I switch off 小黑, it will automatically switch on again after a few seconds. Also, if I did not touch 小黑 for a few hours it will automatically switch off and does not go to screen saver mode. Haiz. The person say it is some hardware problem so need to bring 小黑 to hp center for diagnosis. But this will take a few weeks, which I can't afford it since I got so many projects and assignments due this month. So 小黑 please bear with me for another month. I will bring you to the doctor once I cleared my projects and assignments k. Lets 加油 together! Bhashya!
On the lighter note, today i bought 小黑 a cover haa haa it is so nice. And the goody thing is that I seldom people in school carrying it so I won't be seen as a commoner carrying similar laptop covers as well!

The best man that had ever entered into my life...

Bazaaring!

I went to ks's booth at the bazaar today and tried two of the tops and bought one of them. I caught an eye on the one I bought at first sight. Firstly, it is because it was wore on the manequine (ks did i spelled it correctly?) And secondly the colours are very cheery so much so that I thought it lightens my mood. :)

Anyway, this is not the happiest thing. I was supposed to meet my friend for lunch at 2pm, but instead we got hooked up in one of the stalls that sell really nice bottoms. So we see and look, look and see for almost an hour and we settled on the stuffs to buy. In the end our lunch meeting became a shopping trip, but I was so happy that for that moment I do not feel hungry at all. Haa Haa
