Boy and Girl (idea orginated from Jasmine) a long outdated entry :P

April 15th is the day that dear and I have gotten together.. Time passed so fast, it has already been two years and we are still standing strong. Thanks Dear for his patience towards me. Thanks Dear for his always showering me with love and concern. Thanks dear for being my 24/7 driver. Thanks dear for being there for me. Thanks Dear for the everything you gave me. The list goes on....

After some inspiration from jasmine and csy.. I have decided to jam down the story of a girl and boy who meet each other in NUS 3 years ago...
One fine day during a dinner after our basketball session,
Boy: what's yr name?
Gal: Yanling, U?
Boy: 我叫俊杰
Deep inside, the gal was thinking what a common name he had, when in actual fact her name is neither uncommon too...

Two weeks later...
Boy: hey yanling, and they started to have a conversation....
but the gal forget his name.
Gal: sorry i forget what is your name.
Boy:我叫俊杰
Gal: Oh ya! I rmb!

From that time onwards, they became closer and soon they were in a father-daughter relationship...

Boy's concern and tenderness for girls have attracted girl towards him. Soon girl fell in love with him unconsciously...
Girl began to miss boy when he was not around.
Girl felt elated when boy sms him.
Girl felt curious about what boy is doing when he is not around. All her mind revolve around the boy and nothing else.

Girl felt awkward about her mental state. Girl questioned herself umpteen times before girl was confirmed that the boy has stolen her heart. But girl is in doubt about whether her feelings for boy would last long. Girl had several short relationships in the past that ended due to the love for the them have subsided.

But to boy.. girl felt that her feelings for him grew stronger everyday...
However girl knew that boy still could not get over another gal whom he had admired for 5 years. Deep inside her heart girl is deeply hurt. Nonetheless, girl keep comforting boy, and asked him to woo the gal even though she is attached. But boy just want the gal to be happy... And girl was even more hurt...

Although boy and gal are not together, they hold hands when they are walking, and when boy is driving, meet to go to school everyday and Girl sleep on boy's shoulder while on the way to school. Girl felt comfortable to maintain the relationship this way, as she could see boy everyday.

Many things happened for Boy to know that Girl likes him. Boy began to think of Girl more often than usual and things start going smoothly for the both of them and on 15th April 2005, Boy and Girl finally confessed their feelings for each other, and they were together since then. Things are going smooth for them.

Till now, boy and girl are still in love with each other intensely. They know that their love for each other will not reduce but grow stronger everyday. Boy thanked god that he had found girl. Girl thanked god for putting boy in her life.

Today is a happy day for me because we went to book our tickets to hk! yeah! Im gg to HK! The thought of it make me super high and excited!!! OMG! Im so happy!!! Heez. Not only that we ate good food today too. We went to some restaurant at clarkquay. The food there is average. Price is abit steep for the quality. Nonetheless i thought that it deserve a post in my blog...


Gingero Set and Cha Soba

The Gingero set costs $18.. quite ex, for the portion of cod fish given. But the side dishes are nice.

There are a lot of escalators in the mall which reminds me of snake and ladder. And the carpark.. OMG if u wanna test yr driving skills, you may want to go there to try it out! Heez Im totally impress by yc lar.. can turn all the way haha although i know my dear also can do it. hahaha Anyway the scenery from the carpark is nice...

Happy Belated Birthday to Tan Chou Ling

After all the mugging, finally come a day to unwind and crap with my jc friends. Yes, I agree with jas and csy that birthdays are an excuse to meet up together and of course to eat... We went to eat at BaB noodle (sort of like fusion food) at millenia walk. The food was average only. The spicy soft shell crab i ordered taste was average. The spicy sauce is not spicy.. Maybe coz i have a high threshold for spices. And i thought that it is abit bland too. And the ice mocha was a bit bland also. WHy ar? Is it my tongue or the food? haha. Aniway I have a great time yesterday talking non stop haha. And also get some updates from jasmine. Haha im so happy for her lar. I managed to read your blog le haha my dear help me installed the firefox.. just to read your blog leh!!! Hahah but cannot tag leh. heez

I have been leading a monotonous lifestyle for the past few days. Life is hovering between eating to satisfy and craves and hunger pangs and reading. You won't want to know how much I have been reading. I'm super impressed by what I have read for the past few days. Rmb the photo of the set of notes I have posted? I have read more than half of that during my two days of mugging.:p SIghz.. I would be even more impressed with myself if I could keep up with the hectic study time table that I have come up for myself. haha Ok this entry is mainly for me to boost my self confidence that I will do it. Plus my mama helping me to stock up food ration at home.. yeah my energy boosters...

Friendly bus captain

Based on my experiences, I feel that it is very rare to see bus captains that are friendly and polite. Most of the bus captains I see before either give you a black face or a stoning face after drving for so long with passengers boarding and alighting the bus. But yesterday, I encountered a bus captain who is very friendly and polite. When I first board the bus, he greeted me "Good Morning" with a gracious smile and bowed with his head. I was so surprised and I returned a smile to him. Subsequently , I saw that he did that to all the passengers that have board the bus. Also, upon seeing a lady struggling to get hold of her kid, he waited for them to settle down before moving the bus. So considerate rite? And when I was about to alight the bus, he waved good bye to me from the backview mirror! Oh this is the ultimate lar, I have never seen this before. Pardon me for being gugu or anything you all wanna call me. But i thought he was really being polite and he really brighten up my day manz. And this happened to remind me of what my OM has told me his principles in life, to live, to love and to contribute. This bus captain is definitely demostrating to me in whatever things you do there is certainly a way that you can contribute to the society to make it a better place to live in!

Deviance

Today is the last lecture of my deviance module. It is a real enlightenment after attending this lecture. After all, I have been constantly bombarded with theories every week relating to deviance so much so that I’m not sure which theory leads to the development of the next theory… What is deviance and crime to you my fellow pals? After going through this module you will have a totally different perspective of crime and deviance. One cannot study crime and deviance without studying structural realities. Why is homosexual considered a deviant act? It is often taken for granted in people, for the sociologists they move away from the takens for granted and have an inquisitive mind over these phenomenons. Of all the theories that are presented to me, I favors David Matza’s concept on delinquency drift the most. Criminals are not always criminals. Even the hardest criminals will not totally abandoned mainstream values. In fact, they are oscillating between these two value systems- mainstream values and subculture values. Take CSY’s case as an example, the person that performed the “gross act” maybe considered a deviant to us. But he also subscribe to conventional values like having a job, attend education before etc. In a way he is not deviant all the time. So what makes a criminal a criminal? Also a question for you guys to think about, what make law abiding a difficult task to attain than breaking laws???
